When I travel to Morrowind, I experience extreme lag to the point I can't really move around. I'm sure it's gotta be something in my load order, but BOSS sorted everything with no problems so I'm not sure what's causing it. Can someone help me?

Serious drop in framerate when I travel to Morrowind

It is always recommended to run Skywind on a fresh and clean instalation of Skyrim.. this means that you should probably make a new Skyrim folder that is dedicated to running Skyrim.
having that said playing in morrowind(skywind) will decrease ur fps somewhat..
I hope that this helps you out :)
I'd probably try Skywind with no mods to start. We don't know how Skywind interracts with a lot of stuff yet so try a vanilla install of Skyrim with the expansions to see how it plays.
Skywind on it's own is a lot more demanding than Skyrim. If I play Skyrim on ultra, I get 60fps but some places in Skywind, the framerate goes down to around 40-45 such as the Bitter Coast.

No dice. Tried it with a fresh install and I'm still laggy as hell. I don't understand. I can run the game smoothly at 60 fps on Ultra High.

Why would Skywind be more demanding? Isn't it basically just one massive game-sized mod?
The size has nothing to do with it really, it's because the textures are twice to 4 times the resolution of vanilla Skyrim and also weather effects like in the Bitter Coast. Also it could be poor optimization with meshes and generally more objects on the screen compared to Skyrim.
