Black wood has a 45% chance of having some kind of rain Which imo is kinda high considering that there are only 2 types of rain (normal and thunder) I suggest that I add a third type of rain (sun showers) that was not in oblivion. It would be somewhat lore friendly due to the fact that sun showers occur in swamps in real live and are more common the further you go south toward the equator. But what dose anyone else think. it's just an idea(but I know exactly how to make them).
I reformatted the first post to easier keep track of how everything currently looks and I removed those older pictures seeing as every thing looks completely different now.
Do what you want, I like everything you showed so far.
Just hope you will release it soon because getting it to work with the current master will be a pain and will take some time (I restored original sounds for all regions).
I think everything looks absolutely great! Keep up the amazing work! The more I think about it and see good progress like this the more I want to visit skyblivion I'm glad it's picking up some steam!
@LASentry which ones looked to defused to you? I made some of them look a bit more blurry as to decrease the view distance. The blur makes close areas look further apart. I plan to make multiple version eventually so I guess if you really dislike the blur, I could make a less blurry version.
@stijmunkey: Thanks for the support. I hope after I finish the image spaces I can learn some real 3d modeling and work on creatures.
i'm as big a Skyrim fan as probably anyone here and my 3 favourite deities in TES are sheograth, Nocturnal any Dibella.
I baught Oblivion mainly for the Shivering Isles because of Sheogorath. And I think a version of the Shivering Isles with Skyrim-like graphics and game mechanics sounds great. I'd really like to see what the Golden Saints and Dark Seducers look like. Also it'd be funny as hell to finally be able to reverse pickpocket the Ring of Disrobing on someone.
What are you going to make Sheogorath look like? Exactly like he did in the Palageus wing, like in Oblivion or some kind of compromise?
Version 0.6 is out. It's kinda a minor update but it should have less graphical bugs and look a bit more realistic. it also fixes a couple of other bugs concerning unused form ids that were left over from constant editing of the mod.
It looks really good in some places and certain times of day but other times, like early in the morning everything goes very reddish and if you look at your character in 3rd person you like like you're cooking and have a massive tan... Things like that. Plus the blur is a little bit too much and the sky has a little too much green in it, making it look slightly too turquoise. That's mainly what I've noticed.

Most of the crashed are caused by broken meshes, I think ormin is looking into that.
I remember Ormin saying in chat last week that he ran around Skyblivion for like an hour without a single crash.

If I had to say one thing, it looks very diffused, is it possible to make the colours look sharper?

I reckon screenshots 1, 5 and 6 look the most diffused, the rest are fine :P
thats good new :D
I uploaded more pictures to the main post:
Anyway I can't really get sun glare as bright as i want it
Maybe not that big but that intense.
Looking awesome, keep it up!
oops. I forgot to mention I released version 0.5 a couple days ago.
Any request for alternate versions?
Just my two cents;

Pelagius wing would be the best, maybe with a higher complexion.

Yeah definitely, it would look good with the yellow orcish eyes maybe.

This oblivion realm sky, where you get it from? I don't see it in game : (
So is this still being worked on?
I updated it for 0.2 with a lot of tweaks and additions, and will probably even merge in the maser file.
Oh ok, cool - can't wait to see it! Man I just want to get my hands on the current version :D
