Whenever I try to run the ESP. Converter, it crashes, it gets to the point where it says "Saving NPCs, Found 2675 NPCs", and then Vista tells me it's stopped worked, and I have to close.
Why?

Try this
Right click on your ESP_conv then click "Properties" then click on the "Compatibility" tab and at the bottom where it says "Privelege Level" click the box that says "Run this program as an adminstrator".Do the same thing with NIF_conv.
I'm also running Vista and had a ton of problems converting, with save games, no objects showing up etc. and this seems to fix most of them.The UAC on Vista is a pain.
